Shepard Fairey ‘The Black Hills Are Not For Sale’ Mural
December 5th, 2011
Shepard Fairey pays tribute to the Sioux Indians with a new mural in Los Angeles, painted on the famed Barracuda wall on Melrose. Helping his friend and photographer, Aaron Huey, “The Black Hills are not for sale!” is a common rallying cry for Treaty rights on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and the mural is a collaboration between photos from Huey and Fairey’s artistic mind.
